Having begun his career with Bauman Associates, Eric Davidson is an accomplished principal who supervises the firm’s audit teams, serving as the primary client contact. He consults on audit, assurance and accounting work with clients in school districts, municipalities, not-for-profit, electric cooperatives and municipal electric utilities.

Eric’s favorite part of his career is forming true connections with his clients. He enjoys helping them solve problems and alleviate the stress they feel when dealing with accounting issues. Rather than jumping straight into the work, Eric spends time talking to his clients to understand their goals so that he and his team can provide timely solutions to meet these goals.

Eric’s clients appreciate his ability to explain even the most complex details in terms that make sense, giving them a thorough understanding of the issues without the feeling that someone is talking over their heads. He makes timeliness a priority, responding promptly to his clients when they need answers, and always caters to the client’s communication preference, whether that’s face-to-face conversations, a quick phone call or detailed email.

An Eau Claire native, Eric currently lives in Holmen with his wife. When not assisting his clients, he enjoys golfing, landscaping and yard work, jogging and walking his dogs. He also enjoys sharing his professional skills as the treasurer of Journey Lutheran Church.
