Responsibilities:

  • Playing a key role as a member of our team in providing excellent payroll and accounting services to our business clients.

  • Efficient with developing, comprehending, and evaluating accounting spreadsheets.

  • Communicating in a timely manner to provide updates on open items or other important matters to meet internal and external deadlines.

  • Managing complex payrolls from start to finish.

  • Adhering to firm core values, demonstrating excellent team skills, positive attitude, and high ethical standards.

Compensation will depend upon factors, including experience, education, and professional certifications.

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Minimum 3 years of handling payrolls in different complexities from start to finish including troubleshooting payroll issues and tax reporting.

  • Minimum of a 2-year degree in accounting preferred.

  • Experience at a public accounting firm preferred.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.

  • A passion for payroll and accounting services.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, QBO, and experience with payroll software.
