  • Communicate effectively with audit managers on issues, progress, timelines, etc.

  • Prepare and review reports

  • Assist with identification of risks and controls

  • Identify and recommend solutions to arising risks 

  • Create positive relationships with clients

  • Collaborate with the audit team and principals on various projects

  • Other tasks as assigned

Compensation will depend upon factors, including experience, education, and professional credentials.

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

  • 3+ years of audit experience in public accounting (municipality, nonprofit, or employee benefit plan experience a plus but not required)

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • CPA credentials or have met the 150-hour requirement is strongly preferred

  • Ability and availability for limited travel

  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
